What is Friendly Fitness?
Our studio was created to be the opposite of ego gym culture. This is a place where people can feel seen and accepted. Where you know your coaches and your coaches know you. Whether you are starting out, have tried getting in shape in the past or are just looking for your neighborhood fitness studio. We are here to give you the right exercises for your current abilities, to help answer questions about your fitness and to have a plan for your success.
Why we like to keep it small.
It is too easy to get lost in a crowd. When gyms overcrowd their classes, it becomes difficult to communicate with everyone in class. You may have questions or need assistance, but there are too many people and things are moving too fast. This is why our classes are never more than 6 people at any one time. Our goal is to communicate with you, to teach you the movements, and to give you the ability to talk to us if you have any questions during the class.
How to try a class.
Everyone's first day anywhere can be a little intimidating. That is why we have demo classes available every week! This is a class specifically for any first-time visitor to come and try a class in an environment where everyone is here for the first time too! You will find demo class registration forms in every class page.
Our classes and services.
Circuit Training Class
Our 45-minute small group circuit class is a dynamic full body exercise class that incorporates both the use of equipment and body weight exercises. With four different workout stations every round you are making sure to work on a variety of movements and body parts. Before every round your coach teaches you the movements, explains the benefits and provides alternative movements for those who may need them. Throughout the class your coach continues to monitor, guide and adjust workouts according to everyone's needs.

Strength Training Class
Our 50-minute small group strength class is a slower paced class that focuses on the understanding of proper form and strength training principles. In this class your coach teaches you the movements and explains the concepts you are focusing on that day. Your coach always provides alternative movements for those who may need them. Throughout the class your coach continues to monitor, guide and adjust workouts according to everyone's needs.


Private One-on-One Coaching
Our coaches are always available to help you privately too. If you have a specific need or prefer to have one-on-one planning for your workout routine, this is a great option. With one-on-one coaching your coach listens to your goals and your needs, creates a personalized plan and coaches you though that plan in the direction of your goals. As you progress in your fitness, they make adjustments to your plan in order to keep you moving forward week after week.
