Strength Training Classes

Friendly Fitness Strength is a class designed to emphasize specific concepts and principle of strength training and exercise. Each class is 50 minutes long. In these 50 minutes you will go over the concepts and principles of the exercises. As well as the practical application of these concepts i. e the workout itself. 

These private classes are small in order give you a chance to truly understand the movements, get one on one attention and give you the opportunity to talk with and communicate with your coach. In a Friendly Fitness class the goal is to teach you, guide you and keep you safe through the exercises. This way you have long lasting results and a deeper understating of exercise, strength and technique.

The Program

In strength training there are techniques, concepts, and principles to understand. There are also movements, exercises, calories, and many other things to consider. What we do is choose some of these concepts and principles to incorporate, teach and practice into every strength training class. Every month we focus on learning and training a few concepts. We use them in our workouts and see how they increase our strength and over all fitness. This way you continue to improve month after month.

The Program Book

How do you know you got stronger, faster, fitter? In our strength training class, everyone receives a workout log. This book will contain your workouts, repetitions, weights, and adjustments. This is a great way to be more accurate and more productive in your exercise routine. You can always know where you are in your strength training progress and look back to see where you've been.

Schedule a Free Demo Class

A demo class is a strength session for anyone wanting to visit our gym for the first time and ask questions about our program. In this class you will be taken through a 40-minute version of our strength session with other individuals just trying it out for the first time too. This will give you an opportunity to get to know your coach, get feedback on your movements and get information on our plans.
